How to open MCU2 on model 3:

strip down plastic parts to provide access to mcu

use an air bag to lift slightly the cover panel

unscrew the bolts fixing the glovebox

unclip the interior trim clips on the lower cover panel
and remove the panel

unclip the interior trim clips on the lower cover
panel and remove the panel

unscrew the bolts fixing the AIR BAG

disconnect the battery before removing the air bag!

unscrew the bolts and remove the glovebox

now, the tesla model 3 autopilot mount holder

we don't unscrew the nuts, just loose them

autopilot modem 2.5 can be dismount without
stripping down the cover

mcu circuit board is right under the cover

remove the MCU cover

unscrew the bolts fixing the modem and remove
the circuit board

remove the MCU cover

unscrew the MCU circuit board

autopilot 3 is a bit different from 2.5 autopilot

we don't have to unscrew the front bolts to push is aside

here we have an easy access to the bolts
